Peaceful Products is an organization that is dedicated to making a difference by helping others in need. We do this by donating profit from the artwork and products sold on our site. Peaceful Products is founded by artist and autism specialist Emily Boulger.

Peaceful Products is a organization that sells artwork and handmade one of a kind products  by artists from around the world. Profits from each product sold goes to a charity of our artist's choice.

Peaceful Products does not charge artists to sell their work on this website store, instead they ask the artists to donate part of their commission to an organization or charity in need.

Founder

Emily Lawrence Boulger is the founder and creator of Peaceful Products.  Emily grew up in Haverhill Massachusetts. She then moved to New York City, studied fine arts at Fashion Institute of Technology and received her bachelor of fine arts from the School of Visual Arts. Emily then went to Endicott College to earn her masters degree of education in moderate disabilities and UMASS Lowell for a degree in behavior intervention in autism.  She also completed a masters degree of education in visual arts and learning at Endicott College.

Emily is a practicing artist. Her art is mostly inspired by the students she works with.  Emily believes that being a special educator and an artist are similar in many ways. Each student is so special and unique that creating the right methodology of delivering instruction and services often becomes a creative challenge.

Emily has been a special educator for ten years now .  Emily uses a muti-sensory approach based on Howard Gardner's Multiple Intellegences Theory  in teaching to help increase comprehension skills; within this approach art is integrated in all parts of her program’s curriculum. She was recognized for her teaching and was awarded “2008 Special Education Art Educator of the Year” by the Massachusetts Art Education Association.

Throughout her time has a special educator, Emily has worked hard to get all her students involved in art. She has organized many art exhibits and collaboration pieces for the students and communities she serves. Emily's most recent project Connecting the Community Through the Arts was a collaboration mural now displayed in the downtown area of her home city Haverhill which involved over 600 participants.

Emily’s quote “Art is no longer about me; it is taking all I have and all I know to prepare my students for the rest of their life and to give back to my community.” demonstrates not only her vision, but defines her practice.
